In 2017, Joseph ventured into the mobile MRI business, opening locations in Clinton Township and Southfield, securing and maintaining two Certificates of Need (CON) to provide mobile MRI services. In 2018, he founded Prism Lab, LLC, a CLIA medical laboratory in Rochester specializing in urine analysis and COVID-19 testing. Under Joseph’s leadership, Prism Lab has conducted nearly 70,000 COVID tests, playing a crucial role in supporting the community during the pandemic.
“Our motto during these challenging times is, ‘bringing humans together one test at a time,’” Joseph explains. “We are proud to have helped our community in Rochester Hills and surrounding cities. Our lab enabled clients to travel safely by providing secure, negative test reports with up-to-date QR codes to prevent piracy.”
In 2019, Joseph applied to the MRA/CRA to establish a Safety Compliance facility in Michigan. He received preliminary approval in March 2020 and his first license in January 2022. Prism Triangle, LLC, achieved ISO 17025 certification in March 2023.
Additionally, Joseph’s innovative spirit led him to apply for a patent in 2018 with the United States Patent & Trademark Office for an invention designed to alleviate neck strain from prolonged computer use and frequent flying. This patent, issued in February 2023 (US11,576,508 B2), further exemplifies his commitment to improving lives through innovative solutions.
